Plain-English terms for using the demo and what would apply in a real implementation. Not a substitute for legal advice.
This website is a demonstration built by RG Consulting to show how a national mental health nonprofit could present its services online. It is not a live service. The intake form, Ground Chat, donation form, and donor portal are illustrative — they exist to demonstrate design, interaction patterns, and data flow.
No real mental health services are delivered through this site. No real therapy, peer support, or care navigation is provided. If you are looking for actual mental health support right now, please call or text 988 — the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — or speak with a licensed mental health professional.
In a production implementation, the service represented by this demo would commit to the following:
No digital service — however well designed — is a substitute for emergency care. Digital tools can connect, guide, and support. They cannot replace a trained clinician in a room with you.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are in emotional crisis, call or text 988. These are the right channels for emergencies — not a chat window or an intake form.
A real implementation of this service would be designed with these limitations clearly communicated at every step.
In a real implementation, users would agree to the following:
The original code, design, and content of this demonstration site are owned by RG Consulting. The site is built as a demonstration of how a real nonprofit could structure its digital presence. You can view the parent site and other work at robgibbins.com.
The name "Mental Health Demo" and the design system used in this site are proprietary. They are not licensed for reproduction without permission.
In a real implementation, terms would be updated as the service evolved. Changes would be posted on this page with the date of update. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We'd always tell you if something significant changed — not just update a version number and hope you noticed.
